Okay, here’s my post about the “college basketball coach barnes crossword” thing I messed around with today:
So, I was messing around on the internet, and I found this crossword puzzle. I’m not a big crossword guy, but this one had a clue that said “College basketball coach Barnes.” And I thought, “Hey, I kinda know a little about college basketball!” So, I decided to give it a shot.
First, I tried to think of any college basketball coaches named Barnes that I knew. I racked my brain, but nothing came immediately to mind. I was like, “Dang, maybe I don’t know as much as I thought.” But I didn’t give up!
I went to my best friend – the internet. I typed in “college basketball coach Barnes” into the search bar, and boom! A bunch of stuff popped up. It turns out there’s this website called “The Crossword Solver” that had like 30 answers for that clue! 30! Who knew there were so many options for a coach named Barnes?
I also saw that this clue was in the LA Times crossword puzzle. Someone even mentioned seeing it there and said, “Hey.” which I thought was pretty funny. So it’s not just me who noticed this Barnes guy.
Digging Deeper

I’ve definitely heard of him before, but I guess it just didn’t click at first. It was a fun little adventure, and I learned something new about college basketball. Maybe I’ll try another crossword puzzle sometime, who knows! But for now, I’m just glad I finally cracked the code on that “College basketball coach Barnes” clue. It was way more interesting than I thought it would be!
