Okay, so, I got this 2021 Panini Prizm Baseball thing, card number 113. I’m not really a big collector or anything, just saw this thing and thought, “Why not?” So, I went ahead and looked it up.
First, I searched on a few sites for “2021 Panini Prizm Baseball #113”. Found out it’s a Ke’Bryan Hayes card. Cool, cool. Apparently, he’s a rookie, which I guess is a big deal in the card-collecting world? I don’t know. Anyways, there were a bunch of different versions of this card, like this “Silver Prizm” and a “Red, White, and Blue Prizm” one. The Silver one was going for about 4 bucks, and the Red, White and Blue was like, 2.50, on one of those auction sites.
I checked out this other site, COMC, and they had a ton of these 2021 Panini Prizm cards. A whole bunch of these Ke’Bryan Hayes ones, too. Looked like you could buy from different people all at once, which is kind of neat, I guess.
- Looked for more info on this card.
- Found a bunch of listings, different prices.
- Realized there are different types of this card.
My Action Plan
Then I went on Amazon, just to see, and they had these Mega Boxes of the 2021 Prizm Baseball cards. Eight packs, plus a bonus one. Seemed like a lot, but hey, maybe that’s how you get into this stuff.
Honestly, I just grabbed the card because it caught my eye. Now I’m kind of curious, though. Maybe I’ll look into this Ke’Bryan Hayes guy. See what the deal is with these rookie cards. Might even buy a couple more packs, just for kicks. Who knows, maybe I’ll end up with something valuable. Or maybe I’ll just have a stack of shiny cards. Either way, it’s been a little adventure.
Anyway I shared my recent experience of buying baseball card. I think I will buy more cards in the future, and share more my new experiences.
Not bad for a random pick, huh? It’s kind of funny how one little thing can lead you down a whole new path. I guess that’s the fun of trying new stuff. You never know what you might find, or what you might learn. Or maybe you’ll just have a good story to tell. Either way, it’s all good in my book.
