Okay, so, I’ve been digging into this “cccaa football” thing lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a wild ride. First off, I started by trying to figure out what this whole CCCAA thing even was. Turns out, it stands for California Community College Athletic Association, or I guess it used to. Now they go by 3C2A. Whatever, it is some kind of sports thing for community colleges in California. They’ve got like, over a hundred colleges involved, pretty big.
So, I started looking into some recent games. I saw that Riverside City, which I guess is a pretty big deal, they totally crushed Golden West. It was like a showdown of the best teams or something. That got me interested, so I kept digging.
Then I found out about a game that was supposed to happen between Fullerton College, but it didn’t happen. I guess the air quality was bad or something, so they postponed it. That’s a bummer, but you know, safety first, right?
I noticed that there are these regional finals that are supposed to happen on December 3rd. I dug a little more into that. They do it at the home field of whoever did better during the season, the higher seed, they call it. Makes sense.
Then, I found this tidbit about the state championship game. Apparently, that’s going down on December 11th. It’s all going to be at the home field of whoever wins the Southern California championship. This team, VC, they made it to the state title game once before, back in 2018, but they lost. Bummer for them, I guess.
- I tried to understand this CCCAA stuff.
- I looked at recent games, like the Riverside City one.
- I found out about a postponed game because of air quality.
- I learned about the regional finals on December 3rd.
- I discovered the state championship is on December 11th.
So yeah, that’s basically my journey into the world of CCCAA football. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, but I think I’m finally getting the hang of it. It’s actually kind of interesting once you start getting into it.
