Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another review. This time, we’re diving into the world of basketball shoes, specifically the D Wade line. Now, I’ve been a huge fan of Dwyane Wade since his early days in the league, and I’ve always admired his style on and off the court. So, when I heard about his signature shoe line, I knew I had to get my hands on a pair and give them a try.
First off, I started to read a lot of stuff online. Found out that Way of Wade is actually part of Li-Ning. It is D Wade’s own thing, just like how Jordan Brand is with Nike. That’s pretty cool, right? A big deal for any athlete. Then I went down this rabbit hole about what makes a good basketball shoe. It’s not just about looking good, it’s about grip, keeping your feet cool, and not letting them get all sweaty.
After looking at all the options, I decide to try a few different models. I went to the store and tried on the Dame Certified, the Wade 808 2, and the Li-Ning Way of Wade 10. Man, let me tell you, the Way of Wade 10 felt amazing right out of the box. They just hugged my feet perfectly and felt super stable.
Took them to the court the next day, and boy, was I impressed. The grip on these things is insane. I was cutting and changing directions like a madman, and not once did I feel like I was going to slip. And my feet stayed surprisingly cool, even after a couple of hours of playing. The cushioning was top-notch too. I felt like I could jump higher and land softer, which is a big deal when you’re trying to avoid injuries.
- Tried out: Dame Certified, Wade 808 2, Way of Wade 10
- My favorite: Way of Wade 10
- Why: Amazing grip, super comfy, great cushioning
I also tested out the Wade All City 12 and the Li-Ning Liren 4v2 and Speed 10 at a different store on another day. But nothing compared to the Way of Wade 10. They’re just on another level in terms of performance and comfort.
My Verdict
If you’re serious about basketball and you’re looking for a new pair of shoes, you gotta check out the D Wade line, especially the Way of Wade 10. They’re a bit pricey, but trust me, they’re worth every penny. After playing in these shoes for a few weeks, I can confidently say that they’re some of the best basketball shoes I’ve ever worn. They give you the confidence to play your best game, and they look pretty damn good too.
So, that’s my experience with the D Wade basketball shoes. I tried a bunch, played a lot, and ended up loving the Way of Wade 10. Hope this helps you guys out if you’re looking for some new kicks. Catch you in the next one!
