Okay, so, I’ve been diving deep into the Cardinal Mooney Cardinals football season for 2023, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. First off, I started digging around to get a feel for what was up with the team this year.
I noticed that O’Brien was back as the starting quarterback. This was his third season running the show, so I figured he’d be pretty solid, you know, having that experience under his belt.
Then, I started watching some games. Man, these guys were really something. They really pulled through, so I kept watching.
I saw that they even won the FHSAA Class 1S State championship! That was a big deal. They played against Trinity Catholic at Bragg Memorial Stadium. I watched that game on December 8th – what a nail-biter! It was a really exciting win.
